If you plan on using the rowboat, we recommend a minimum of 90 minutes.

What is the best time to book a photoshoot?
Aldergrove Pond House is beautiful throughout the day, with mature trees offering plenty of natural shade even during mid-day. Golden hour is our most popular booking time, offering a warm, romantic glow. For the best golden light, we recommend finishing your session about 30 minutes before sunset, as the surrounding trees can block the light closer to sunset.
What happens if it rains?
If rain is forecast, we can work with you to reschedule your session, subject to availability. Overcast skies and light drizzle can also create beautiful, soft, romantic lighting for photos.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! Aldergrove Pond House is pet-friendly. We kindly ask that dogs remain leashed when not being photographed and that owners clean up after their pets.
Do you offer styling or props for photoshoots?
Styling, props, and decor are not included, but you’re welcome to bring your own. We also offer select styled setups as an add-on. Please reach out for details!
Can I bring friends or family to my photoshoot?
Absolutely! Our photoshoot sessions accommodate up to 5 people, including your photographer. If you’d like to bring additional friends or family, just let us know when booking. Additional charges may apply for larger groups.
How do I book a photoshoot?
Reach out through our inquiry form. We’ll confirm availability and send you the booking details. Your date is secured once we received your signed agreement and a 30% deposit. Remaining balance is due one week before your session.
