For our first season, we are hosting events of up to 30 guests to maintain the intimate, relaxed feeling of the property.
Larger events may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
30% non-refundable deposit and signed rental agreement are required to secure your date
Remaining balance is due 3 weeks prior to your event
A separate, refundable damage deposit may be required.
What’s Included
Exclusive access to the outdoor areas of the property, including the pond, lawns, gardens, and Garden Pavilion.
Aldergrove Pond House is rented as a blank canvas, meaning that furniture, décor, tents, and tableware are not included — giving you complete flexibility to design the day exactly as you like.
For convenience, we can include our existing furniture or leave the space entirely open if preferred. For ceremonies, we provide a signing table and two chairs, plus a few extra chairs for guests who need them.
We’re happy to share our list of recommended local rental partners for items like additional chairs, tables, or décor to help bring your vision to life.
The Setting
Hours & Sound
We are a daytime-only venue. To preserve the peaceful atmosphere and respect our neighbours, all gatherings must end by sunset.
Light, acoustic, or playlist music is welcome during your event, but amplified sound systems or large speakers are not permitted.
Aldergrove Pond House is a family-run garden venue — part working garden, part passion project. While we take care in maintaining the grounds, our property has a natural, rustic charm.
You’ll find patches of happy weeds, wild edges, and the occasional uneven path. We don’t aim for manicured perfection — our character lies in the beauty of a lived-in, evolving garden.
Surroundings & Neighbourhood
Our property sits within the Fraser Valley Agricultural Land Reserve, surrounded by active farms. On certain days, depending on wind direction, you may notice natural farm scents in the air.
We encourage guests to embrace the full experience of rural life — tranquil views, open skies, and all the quirks that come with it.
House Access & Facilities
The main house on the property is our private family residence and not open for guest use. However, all rentals include access to a dedicated ground-floor washroom in the house for you and your guests.
Complimentary on-site parking is available for up to 25 vehicles.
Parking
No confetti, glitter, or loose flower petals — please help us keep the gardens clean and safe.
Pond safety: The pond is decorative and not for swimming or wading. Guests should stay on the paths, deck, and lawn areas.
Supervise children at all times, especially near water.
Respect wildlife and plants: Do not touch or handle ducks, turtles, or other animals, and do not pick flowers or plants.
Smoking: Permitted only in the designated area near the parking lot.
