Aldergrove Pond House is our home. We are Elisha (me!), my parents Ann and Mark, my brother Adam, and my boyfriend, Andrea. This land has always been a place of nurturing - its first owner was a landscape artist, the next owner then turned it into a peacock sanctuary. Now, it’s our turn to be its keepers.

My mom, Ann, always dreamed of a larger canvas for her passion for gardening. In retirement, she and my dad, Mark, found that dream here. What started as her vision has become our family's shared project. Together, we've added many garden beds, a chicken coop, and the joyful presence of our ducks, rabbits, cat Olive, and two dogs, Luna and Cookie.

Taming five acres is a daily labour of love. You might spot a few happy weeds or some wild overgrowth—the signs of a garden that is truly lived-in and loved, not a perfect showpiece. We embrace it all, making small improvements every day.

We’ve always felt that this beautiful place was too special to keep to ourselves, and we hope others can create their own lasting memories here, just as we have.
